How do I apply NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer?

For optimal results with NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer, start by prepping your skin with a moisturizer or primer suited to your skin type. Then, using a clean finger, concealer brush, or makeup sponge, apply a small amount of the product directly onto the areas you want to cover. Blend gently into the skin for a seamless finish. This technique works well for targeting imperfections or applying under the eyes, helping create a polished look. Layer for more coverage if needed, as the formula is buildable.

Is NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer suitable for all skin types?

NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is primarily designed for those with normal to oily skin, but it can be used on dry or combination skins with the right prep. Proper hydration is key, as dry skin types should ensure they moisturize before application to avoid enhancing dry patches. This versatile concealer adapts well to various climates and conditions, making it a great choice for anyone looking for full coverage while managing oil and shine effectively.

Does NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer control shine?

Yes, NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is formulated to help control shine. Its matte finish helps absorb excess oil, making it an excellent choice for individuals with oily skin or those who live in humid conditions. The soft matte texture ensures your makeup remains intact without looking overly dry or cakey. It's perfect for long days at the office or active social outings where maintaining a fresh look is essential.

Can I use NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer as a foundation?

While NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is designed for targeted coverage, it can be used as a foundation in a pinch for those seeking a minimalistic makeup approach. It's best to apply a thin layer over a primer to ensure an even application. However, keep in mind that this concealer offers full coverage, so a little goes a long way. For an effortless no-makeup look, use it on trouble spots while allowing your natural skin to shine through.

How long does NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer last?

NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is known for its long-lasting formula that typically holds up throughout the day without fading or settling into fine lines. For longevity, ensure your makeup is set with a translucent powder which can enhance wear time. This makes it suitable for busy days or special occasions when you need your makeup to remain flawless for hours without constant touch-ups.

Is NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer waterproof?

While NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is not marketed specifically as waterproof, it has a highly resistant formula that withstands sweat and humidity. It's suitable for everyday wear, including during moments of heat and activity. For occasions involving water exposure, pairing it with a setting spray can enhance its staying power, providing more confidence in various environments.

What shades are available in NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer?

NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer comes in a wide range of shades to cater to various skin tones. From light to deep shades, including neutral and warm undertones, there’s a shade for everyone.
