HOLMES Air Purifiers HAP116Z-U Editorial Review
The Holmes Air Purifier Hap116z has generally garnered a positive reception from users, particularly for its dual functionality as a noise-canceling machine and an air purifier. Many customers appreciate its contribution to improved sleep quality, with one user specifically noting its use as a "white noise" device. Despite its capabilities, some feedback highlights a minor increase in noise on the higher setting compared to previous models, prompting users to place it farther away for optimal comfort. Long-term users also mention that while the device remains effective over multiple years, they experience issues such as a slight rattle in the fan after significant use. One Consideration that has been noted is the cost and availability of replacement filters, with some customers expressing frustration that the filters can be more expensive than the purifier itself. Additionally, a few users recommend limiting the purifier's use to smaller spaces, such as small bedrooms, to maximize its effectiveness. Overall, the Holmes Air Purifier Hap116z is viewed as an effective solution for air purification and noise reduction in modest-sized areas, though potential buyers should be prepared for the recurring cost of filter replacements. **
