The Singer professional series scissors are a mixed bag. They are cheap, with a molded plastic handle which makes them feel flimsy. Many customers were disappointed with their dull blades and misaligned cuts. However, some customers found them to be very sharp, especially the larger scissors, and loved how they fit in their hand. They do not come with blade covers, and the thread snips have been described as useless by some customers. SInger does make a great Pinking shear.
