Hellwig 553 EZ-550 Helper Spring Kit

The Hellwig 553 Helper Spring has garnered a mix of praise and criticism from customers who have installed this product. Many users appreciate the improved ride quality, particularly when towing or carrying a load, noting that the helper springs effectively alleviate the "hop" experienced in their vehicles, particularly in models like the Colorado Z71. This enhancement in ride quality and leveling out the load is a significant highlight for most customers, as it addresses key concerns related to handling and stability under load. However, the installation process has proven to be a point of contention. While some customers found the installation straightforward, others described it as confusing and insufficiently detailed. Users noted that the instructions, while simple, did not provide enough information leading to uncertainties during installation. A common complaint was the absence of essential hardware—nuts and washers—which hindered the installation process and led to repeat purchases of necessary components. User feedback reflects a general satisfaction with the product's performance after installation, but there is a notable call for clearer instructions and better quality control regarding included parts. **
